Vijay Sethupathi’s 25th film Seethakathi is slated to be released on 20 December. The movie has been censored with U certificate.

The makers have announced that the trailer of the movie will be released on 21 November at 11 am.

The movie is directed by Balaji Tharaneetharan, this combo had already worked in Naduvula Konjam Pakkatha Kaanom.

The star cast also includes Ramya Nambeesan, Gayathri and Parvathy. Music for the flick is by Govind Menon.

Vijay Sethupathi is having back to back hits lately, including 96, Chekka Chivantha Vaanam and Imaikka Nodigal.

Arun Vijay is at currently working in Va Deal and Saaho and has been signed to be part of Agni Siragugal directed by Moodar Koodam fame Naveen.

On the actor’s birthday on Monday, the announcement about the actor’s next flick has been made. The movie has been titled as Boxer and will be directed by Vivek.

The first look poster of the Amala Paul’s upcoming movie Adho Andha Paravai Pola was released by Kajal Agarwal.

Amala Paul is said to play the role of an adventurous young girl who gets lost in a jungle. The movie is directed by debutante Vinoth KR and is bankrolled by Century International Film.

Shooting for the film was happening in the forests of Kerala, Tamilnadu and Andhra Pradesh. Now the actress has begun the dubbing of the movie.

Nayanthara plays the lead role in Kolaiyuthir Kaalam directed by Chakri Toleti and produced by YSR Films of Yuvan Shankar Raja.

The actress was shooting some important sequences for the movie in London. The first look poster of the film was released recently and looked like it will be thriller movie.

The makers have now announced that the movie will be released during January 2019. We will have to wait and see if the flick will join the Pongal race and compete with superstar Rajinikanth’s Petta and Ajith’s Viswasam.

Undoubtedly, Vijay Sethupathi’s Seethakathi has managed to bring everyone into its world. Thanks to the makers for offering a deep insight about the film as they unveil the queue of characters essayed by colossal performers. Director Chimbudevan’s Imsai Arasan 24am Pulikesi was put on hold after it was said that Vadivelu did not turn up for shooting and the makers filed a complaint against the actor.

Sources now say that the issue has been solved as both the parties have come to an amicable solution. It is said that the shooting of the movie will begin in 2019 Januray and if everything goes well the movie might release for Deepavali 2019.

The movie is a sequel to Imsai Arasan 23am Pulikesi which was released in 2006. The flick will be bankrolled by director Shankar.

It may be noted that it was recently announced that Chimudevan will do a project for Venkat Prabhu’s Black Ticket production company and Trident Arts.

The set works for Kamal Haasan starrer Indian 2 directed by Shankar began in Chennai recently. It is now said that the ‘Ulaganayagan’ underwent screen test for the role of Senapathi aka the Indian Thaatha.

It is said Simbu and Dulqueer Salman have been roped in to play important roles in the movie. The flick is a sequel to the blockbuster flick Indian which was released close to two decades ago.

Produced by Lyca Productions, the movie will have music by Anirudh Ravichander. It is learnt a top actress will be roped in as heroine for Indian 2.

“If everything goes as planned, the film will hit the screens early 2020,” sources said.

Screen Scene Media Entertainment, one of the most renowned production and distribution studio has acquired the Tamil Nadu theatrical rights of Jai-Varalaxmi Sarathkumar-Raai Laxmi-Catherine Tresa starrer ‘Neeya 2’.

Everything involving this film ‘Neeya 2’ directed by L Suresh has been generating the gilded measures of sensation, which started right from the announcement of title. Moreover, with the inclusions of prominent league actors like Jai, Varalaxmi Sarathkumar, Raai Laxmi and Catherine Tresa, the spotlights have been retained upon them. The first look poster of Vishal’s Ayogya which was unveiled by director A R Murugadoss earlier this week was slammed by PMK leader S Ramadoss.

Vishal was seen holding a beer bottle in his hand for which Ramadoss conveyed his objection. However, clarifying the poster, Vishal today said he was just holding the bottle in his hand.

‘I am investigating a case in that scene where the bottle is an evidence and fight with that. Holding the bottle does not mean that I am drinking,’ the actor said.

The movie is directed by debutant Venkat Mohan, a former associate director of Murugadoss. Ayogya is the remake of Tollywood flick Temper.

Raashi Khanna plays the female lead and the movie is bankrolled by Tagore Madhu. Sources said the makers are planning to release the movie in January 2019

The first look poster of GV Prakash’s new film Sarvam Thaala Mayam was unveiled recently and generated curiosity among fans.

The film directed by Rajiv Menon, will have music by double Oscar-winning AR Rahman, who is the uncle of G V Prakash.

Director Karthik Subbaraj has announced that the audio launch of Petta will happen on 9 December.

He tweeted the first single from the movie will be released on 3 December followed by the second single on 7 December and the entire album on 9 December.

The movie is produced by Sun Pictures and has an ensemble of cast which includes Trisha, Simran, Vijay Sethupathi and Bobby Simha among others.

Music for the movie is by Anirudh Ravichander. It is also expected that the teaser of the movie will be released on Rajini’s birthday on 12 December.

The official announcement about Vijay’s next movie tentatively titled Thalapathy 63 with director Atlee was made recently.

Now the makers of the movie have announced the Nayanthara will play the female lead in the flick. The movie which is bankrolled by AGS Films will be the third film in the actor-director combo after Theri and Mersal.
