Boney Kapoor who put his faith in the director and launched him in Tevar ,has now bought the rights of Badhaai Ho directed by Amit Ravindernath Sharma, to remake it for the South market.

Sources reveal that the producer also collaborates with Amit for his next with Ajay Devgn , a biopic based on football player and coach Syed Abdul Rahim.

Says a source , ” Producer Boney Kapoor was the first to put his faith in Amit who at the time was a celebrated ad filmmaker . Now that his recent film Badhaai Ho went on to achieve a blockbuster status , Boney will be taking the film to the South market.

The emergence of actors rising from the small screen to prominence in the big screen is ever increasing. Capturing our hearts with scintillating songs and visual promos, Nayanthara starrer ‘Airaa’ is all set to have a worldwide theatrical release on March 28. During this juncture, the crew comprising of Music director Sundaramurthy KS, actor Kalaiarasan and director Sarjun were present for a short and crisp media interaction with press and media. Here are some of the excerpts from the event.

Music director Sundaramurthy KS has wowed the music lovers with his mellifluous and enjoyably packaged album. However, he rendered very few words of appreciation with just thanks to everyone in the team for giving him an opportunity to be a part of this film. Of course, best musicians have always been people with few words for their songs speak loud about their hard work.

Next it was actor Kalaiarasan, who said, “Soon after my film ‘Madras’, many have been consistently asking me why I am not doing any movies as such. Of course, I am unceasingly looking up for such projects. Soon after Madras, I started working on films with my friends. Some of them became hits while others couldn’t make a long run. Sarjun and I were supposed to work together in the film ‘Echcharikkai’, which didn’t happen due to some reasons. I was slightly disappointed for not getting an opportunity to work with him, but I got a call for Airaa, where he asked me if I can do a particular character in this movie. I would say that more than a horror film, Airaa has an emotional angle too. Everything including the look and feel of this film will have a fresh appeal.”

Filmmaker Sarjun MK said, “I enjoyed working through each and every process in this film. In particular, I was really happy with the way, we filmed the back and white portions and Megadhootham song. Well, Airaa isn’t just about these elements, but there are lots to enjoy. One portion of the film will have spine-chilling and enjoyable moments while the other one would be serious and emotional. We have tried delivering a wholesome entertainer, where audiences will have something to takeaway home. I am so much thankful and owe a lot to couple of people, who have been the main pillars of Airaa. It’s KJR Studios Rajesh sir. I met him first to narrate the script and next time I saw him was for the first copy screening. He didn’t even ask a single question or any update about the project, but he kept providing us whatever we asked for. Sometimes, even I would ask him to drop few ideas keeping budget in mind, but he never wanted to compromise with the quality and provided us with essential things. Nayanthara mam has been a great support to the film. She has essayed dual roles, which are not connected in any way and we had to work a lot in scripting for this. More than all, Nayanthara madam’s distinct and diversified performance in different roles helped us achieve what we actually wanted. I am sure Airaa will be a good treat for audiences.”

Siva Karthikeyan, who has proved himself as a successful producer in his maiden production ‘Kanaa’ has titled his second production as ‘Nenjamundu Nermaiyundu Odu Raja’. It is to be noted that the title “Nenjamundu Nermaiyundu odu Raja” is incorporated from a very popular song of MGR. This film is directed by Karthik Venugopalan who had shot into fame with Black Sheep, a YouTube Channel.

Nayanthara’s ardent fan following is unmatched by any other contemporary south actresses today. Holding an unprecedented appellation “The Lady Super Star”, she promises to reach the expectations of her fans with every consecutive film especially with her woman-centric films. Now, as the trailer of the much-awaited film “Airaa” receives an immensely positive response like never before, it seems to lock another sure-shot blockbuster for her after Kolamavu Kokila and Imaikkaa Nodigal’s success.

Taking a glimpse into the Airaa trailer, it opens with an intriguing question “Have you heard of Bhavani?” which seems to trigger your expectations on the movie. Also, the ongoing scenes reveal Nayan's character first of the two as a YouTube content creator who sets out to film a fake paranormal video to spike her popularity on the platform and that’s where the twist strikes the flow.

Then comes the intro of Bhavani (second role), and quirky back-story runs by with an engaging bgm till the end and we hear the voice-over of a woman who vows vengeance for yet unknown Amudha.

Interestingly a butterfly motif appears in several frames through-out the trailer and a glass panel in the end, giving space to the speculations and predictions. Here, the trailer cut gives a peek into the layers of the story that are served engagingly amidst the horror nodes and so, likely they seem to hold the interest of the audience till the movie release and make it a sure-shot box-office success thereafter.

As the movie is ready to hit the worldwide screens on 28 th March, Music Director Sundaramurthy K.S, Director Sarjun KM; Echarikkai: Idhu Manithargal Nadamadum Idam (Maa and Lakshmi short films) fame, Producers Kotapadi J Rajesh and Maheshwara Reddy Writer Priyanka Ravindran, Editor Karthik Jogesh, Co-stars Kalaiyarasan, Yogi Babu, Jayaprakash and Malayalam fame Kulappulli Leela are very confident about the success along with Nayanthara herself.

Interestingly, Producer Maheswara Reddy has planned an own release for the Telugu version, with the trust on the lady super star’s phenomenal market in Telugu states and the story that has got everything to be a successful venture for him.

However, drooping limelight on Nayanthara’s acting mettle; Airaa is all set for a multi-lingual worldwide release in 300+ theatres, which is so far the biggest release in her entire career. Following his recent works, I had inclined towards assumptions on how the music could turn up for Raja Bheema, but he surpassed my expectations with a completely different and fresh style from his erstwhile composing. When I happened to see some of the visuals along with his BGM, it was literally amazing for he has given his best into the film. More than all, we are happy that Think Music has acquired the audio rights of Raja Bheema. Far-famed for marketing and promoting several albums, I’m happy that Raja Bheema album has found the right platform.”

Raja Bheema owns a unique premise of Man-Animal conflict that has been extensively shot across the backdrops of Palakkad, Pollachi and Thailand.

With the shooting of this film recently wrapped up, the post-production work is happening on full swing. The makers are planning to make announcements pertaining to audio, trailer and worldwide theatrical release shortly in time.

A.R. RAHMAN CREATES INDIA’S MARVEL ANTHEM FOR THE RELEASE OF AVENGERS: ENDGAME

MUMBAI : Marvel India has teamed up with India’s musical maestro – A.R. Rahman to bring in his signature stamp of genius for Avengers: Endgame. The Oscar winner will be creating an all-new anthem for Indian fans of Marvel across three languages – Hindi, Tamil and Telugu. The track will be released on April 1st.

Fans from across the country are eagerly waiting for the grand conclusion, Avengers: Endgame, making it one of the most anticipated movie of the year. Over the last few years, Indian fans have loved and embraced the Marvel Super Heroes; and the success of Avengers: Infinity War is a reflection of the popularity that it enjoys today. With Thanos snapping away half the population from the planet; the conversations around Avengers: Endgame have been unparalleled.

About Avengers: Endgame
The grave course of events set in motion by Thanos that wiped out half the universe and fractured the Avengers ranks compels the remaining Avengers to take one final stand in Marvel Studios’ grand conclusion to twenty-two films, “Avengers: Endgame.”

Kevin Feige produces “Avengers: Endgame,” and Anthony and Joe Russo are the directors. Louis D’Esposito, Victoria Alonso, Michael Grillo, Trinh Tran, Jon Favreau and Stan Lee are the executive producers, and Christopher Markus & Stephen McFeely wrote the screenplay. The young talented power house of Tamil music industry, KS Sundaramurthy overwhelms with positive vibes involving his upcoming release ‘Airaa’. The album has already nailed it excellently with warm reception for the diversified musical genres that he has composed. Instead of feeling the warmth of success, Sundaramurthy credits all thanks to his close friend-filmmaker Sarjun KM. “If not for his trust in me, this would have not been possible. Both of us have been sharing a good vibe from the days of our short films like Lakshmi and Maa. The bonding between me and Sarjun is a precious gift that helps us creatively expand our explorations. KS Sundaramurthy has the passion and love for cinema and arts running through his veins. His father was a designer by profession and has been highly noticed for his association with big names like Kamal Haasan and Mani Ratnam. Inheriting the skills of music from his childhood, the young musician utters that he wants to experiment both in offbeat and commercial films as well.

Airaa features Nayanthara in dual roles with Sarjun KM wielding the megaphone and Kotapadi J Rajesh producing it for KJR Studios. Scheduled for worldwide release on March 28, the film features Kalaiarasan and Yogi Babu in important roles.
