In perfect accordance with predictions, Arun Vijay’s Mafia has witnessed huge opening across all the centers. With strong positive word of mouth publicity by audiences, the actor is basked in the glory of immense success with showbiz traders and analysts affirming that the film has become the biggest non-festival opening for the season. Arun Vijay is experiencing gold rush through his veins with the unconditional hails and cheers he found among the audiences in Coimbatore and Madurai during his theatre tours. However, the actor has no time to relish for he is greasing elbows for a mind-boggling action sequence for his upcoming film ‘Sinam’, which has reached its final schedule. What’s more intriguing is the art department erecting a mammoth set work of slum worth Rs. 45 Lac in Padappai.

Sharing the news, director GNR Kumaravelan says, “This action sequence will be one of the major highlights in this film for it is placed during a crucial situation. While discussing this scene, we felt that it’s impossible to shoot them in real locations and hence, decided to go for the set works. I was a little doubtful if producer Vijaykumar sir would give a nod to our decisions. In contrast, we were surprised that he came forward as he asserted that he is looking forward to a top-notch output and doesn’t want to compromise on that. Art director Michael and his team have come up with such an incredibly outstanding job that it looks like an original location. Apart from this magnificent factor, the action sequence choreographed by Silva Master and Arun Vijay sir’s trademark style will escalate the whole episode.”

The action sequence also features Kaali Venkat alongside Arun Vijay, who plays an important role. With this schedule, the entire shooting will come to an end.

Bankrolled by R. Vijaykumar for Movie Slides Pvt. Ltd, the film is directed by GNR Kumaravelan. Palak Lalwani (Kuppathu Raja fame) is playing the female lead and the star-cast includes some of the prominent actors. Shabir is composing music with Madhan Karki and Priyan Eeknath penning lyrics. From Day 1, the crew has invested their diligent efforts and high energy levels and they successfully celebrated the ‘Wrap Up’ party with shooting.

Marking this milestone event, the crew had cut the cake and what added more flavors to the moment was Harish Kalyan’s treat for the entire crew and cast members, with delicious home-made Biriyani.

Director Kaarthikk Sundar says, “There’s a belief that the genre of the film will eventually have an impact upon the crew while shooting. Harish Kalyan is someone, who can effortlessly keep scoring big with chocolate boy roles, but the way he is trying to push himseld out of his comfort zone is commendable. Although this film is a Rom-Com, his character will reflect the boy in every home, who is inclined towards chasing his dreams. The female lead demanded someone, who embodies an aspirational and relatable woman who can emote with conviction and spontaneity.

Speaking about the film’s current status, director Kaarthikk Sundar adds, “We have completed the dubbing works for some portions simultaneously while shooting. The post-production phase will begin immediately and we will be making announcements on the first look along with title shortly. We are planning to release for Summer 2020.”

Produced by Mr. Koneru Satyanarayana of A Studios LLP and A Havish Pictures and production duties is being executed by SP Cinemas, this film tentatively titled as “Production No.2” is directed by Kaarthikk Sundar. Kayiru, a Tamil film that has silently been garnering accolades all over the world by winning award after award at International film festivals around the globe, is now all set to hit screens here in Tamil Nadu.

Yes, Kayiru, which has been directed by I Ganesh, an associate of the immensely respected Fazil, is to release on March 13 this year. Produced by Skyway Pictures, the film features Sr Gunaa (who has also co-produced the film), Kavya Madhav, Kandhasamy, Cheranraj in important roles. Music for the film has been scored by Prithivy and Vijay Anand. Cinematography is by Jeyan Unnithan and editing is by Karthik.

The film has won at least six International awards, including the Award for the Best Feature Film at the Great Cinema Now Film Festival in the US and the Award for the Best Actor at the 7 Colors Bachalors International Film Festival 2019 in Mexico.

It has also been a finalist in the Best Feature Film categories at the International Moving Film Festival 2019 in Iran, the Eurasia International Monthly Film Festival in Russia and in Cinema Lab, Colombia.

That is not all. From England to Nigeria to the US, the film has made it to the Official Selection List in the Best Narrative Feature Film Category of several top notch International film festivals, including the London International Motion Pictures Award, 2019,the Malabo International Music & Film Festivals 2019, West Africa and the Montgomery International film Festivals, 2019 in the U.S.

Ganesh, the director of Kayiru, is not new to the Tamil film industry. He is the co-director of the blockbuster, Kadhalukku Mariyadhai, which featured actor Vijay and Shalini in the lead and was also the co-director of Kaasi, which featured Vikram in the lead and which was directed by Vinayan. Ganesh was also part of the direction team of films like Kannukul Nilavu and Oru Naal Oru Kanavu.

So, what is it about Kayiru that has made it win so many awards?

Says director Ganesh, “The film highlights the significance of the Tamil culture and stresses the need to preserve and nurture it. My film’s story revolves around a Boom Boom Mattukaran, a traditional soothsayer who goes door-to-door with a young bull every morning to make predictions. He falls in love with a girl. He is put in a situation where he must give up this profession, if he wants to marry the girl. This means losing the bull that he dearly loves. It also means giving up something that is not just his profession but also a tradition that was passed down to him by his father. In other words, giving up a practice which forms our culture. All this puts him in a fix. What he does is what the film is all about. The film highlights not just the significance of preserving our culture and traditions but also speaks about the need to be kind to animals.

“Through my film, I’ve made some pertinent points. I’ve underlined the fact that our culture is a treasure that’s been bequeathed to us by our ancestors. It is each one’s duty to preserve and nurture it. It stresses the need to change the practise of marrying off girls at a young age. More importantly, it highlights the fact that animals and birds are interdependent on man for their survival. We must not hurt them. On the contrary, we must show love and kindness to them.

“Although the film has several social messages in it, it is a thorough entertainer that all kinds of audience will enjoy. We intend to launch the audio in Canada on March first and release the film on March 13.”

Atharvaa Murali’s new film directed by debutant Ravindra Madhava and produced by Michael Rayappan has got Lavanya Tripati onboard for the female lead.

Director Ravindra Madhava says, “The pursuit of heroine for our film has been quite a long phased one. Soon after giving complete sketch to the female lead character, we felt someone with charismatic-graceful look and at the same time, a prowess performer can add more value to it. She isn’t someone, who appears in a blink and miss role, but will travel throughout the film. She is matured, bold, wise and doesn’t think twice to make a decision. She is the one, who questions about the antagonist’s intention of injecting pain in others. With so many traits involved, we approached many talented actresses here, who loved the script and character but couldn’t take up due to their prior commitments. Yes! 5 Star Kathiresan, one of the most reigning producers of the Tamil film industry has acquired the Tamil remake rights of this film.

Sharing the news, 5 Star Kathiresan says, “Just like any other audience, I was completely spellbound watching the film. Only a few films possess the traits, where every element contributed to keeping us engaged from beginning to end. The script, the backdrops where the premise is set, the narrative part, beautiful visuals and more than all, the astounding performances of every character compelled it to watch it over and again. More than feeling happy about acquiring the film’s rights, it’s the excess responsibility, where we have to translate the film with proper native adaption and do justice to the original version. We are now holding talks with leading actors and technicians and will be soon making an official announcement once finalized.”

Komal Sharma was introduced in director SA Chandrasekar’s film after that she acted in director Manivannan’s film Nagaraja Cholan MA MLA and Director Shaji Kailash film Vaigai Express now she has crossed Tamil territory and jumped into malyalam and Hindi terratories.

She is working now in Malayalam historical big budget film “Marakkar: Arabikadalinte Simham”. Famous director Priyadarshan has directed this film, Mohanlal in the lead and the film speaks about sea commander Marakkar,this film is getting released on March 26th, 2020.

About the experience while working in the film, it’s a dream for everyone to work with Mohanlal sir and Priyadarshan sir’s film, the dream has come true for me in one movie itself that too in such huge canvas, In fact to say I was expecting one ladoo but instead I got three ladoos through this film, working in this film was different experience for me.

It’s 345 films Padma Bhushan Lal has done I’m just growing actress but he never saw any difference and he was so good and comfortable to work with, I am very fortunate to work with Lal sir.

Normally Lal sir is a single take artist, so I was so concerned and felt responsible that before even shoot, I have started learning malyalam for this everyday two hours I use to learn malyalam that helped me to go single take, even on the spot I was learning my dialogues perfectly in Malayalam, it was a different experience Because I have to wear historical clothing and ornaments, While shooting for Marakkar I had an opportunity to work in another film of Lal sir produced by Ashirwad Cinemas it was Ittymani made in China, while shooting for ittymani me and Radhika mam use to speak in Tamil.

While Priyadarshan sir started hungama-2 movie this is a remake of very major hit 2003 movie Hungama, after seeing my performance in Marakkar given an opportunity and opening for me in this film in Bollywood, having an opportunity to work with Paresh Rawal, Shilpa Shetty, Ashutosh Rana and some other leading artists, the shoot for this movie is going on, hard work fails that’s what I have understood from this experience.

As Tamil movies has become her second priority after working in Hindi for this she gets tensed and says even in some Tamil movies I am working now and other Tamil movie announcement will come from respective companies

Actress Kajal Aggarwal unveiled the most intriguing video song ‘Asura Kadhal’, which focalizes on stopping the violence against women. The 5-minute song encompasses different women being harassed and hurt by men at home. Thiru K, who has directed the video song says, “On the behalf of the entire team, I would like to thank Kajal Aggarwal mam for her gesture of encouraging our work and unveiling it. We felt that she would be the best person to launch this song as she stands out to be an epitome of women empowerment in both personal and professional aspects.”

This Song produced by Singapore’s One- Clan is composed and crooned by Thiru TK and Dharmenism duo, the music is by Deyo with rappers – Choco-B and Spice adding up more emblazonments to the song. This 5-minute video song has cinematography handled by Levin with Tantra Studios’ JK Saravana, Kutti Kumar & Chidambaram S on Post Production works.
