Sibiraj starrer “Walter” went on floors with its shoot offering an exciting scenario owing to its significance of title. Of course, Sibiraj’s father Sathyaraj had an amazing spell of exhibiting his prowess performance through this unforgettable role of ‘Walter’ in his yesteryear magnum opus. However, the film had its unexpected run into the controversial grounds over the title issues. Now the entire team looks completely happy over clearing such issues and gaining the title ‘Walter’ for their movie now.

Producer Prabhu Thilak says, “We wanted to title this film as ‘Walter’ owing to the significance of Sibiraj father Sathyaraj sir’s all time blockbuster movie. Unfortunately, we had to go through some hiccups pertaining to the title and finally, we are happy to announce that such cloudy scenarios have been cleared off now. Currently, the shooting of ‘Walter’ is going on full swing across the backdrops of Kumbakonam – The Temple Town of Tamil Nadu. Director Anbu has packaged this crime thriller with bunch of interesting elements, which surprised me as an audience while listening to the script. His basic idea of shooting a crime-thriller in Kumbakonam itself struck my attention as this land is known for shooting family entertainers and Rom-Coms. I am excitedly looking forward to see the final output of this film, especially for the top performers like Samuthirakani sir being a part of it.”

Shirin Kanchwala, who has become the heartthrob of season with her appearance in “Nenjamundu Nermaiyundu Odu Raja” is playing the female lead role opposite Sibiraj in this film, which is produced by Dr. Prabhu Thilak and Shruthi Thilak for 11:11Productions. Apart from the fact that the film has a scintillating narration with twists and turns, producer Prabhu Thilak affirms that the action sequences choreographed by Ratsasan fame Vicky will be yet another highlighting stud of this film. The makers are now holding talks with a prominent filmmaker of our region to play the baddie and the official word on this will be out anytime sooner.

PVR Cinemas has always respected the values of audiences who come to watch movies and has never missed to nurture their experience with beautiful inclusions. At the other end, where many single screen theatres are being shut down and renovated into marriage halls, it’s really nice and happy to see that PVR Cinemas is consistently opening more multiplexes. Oththa Seruppu Size 7 perfect flick for ‘U’niversal audiences
The word “Radhakrishnan Parthiban” has been one of the most attractive brands across the decades in Southern Cinema. The spectacular firebrand has carried itself beyond these boundaries at many times for being ‘Different and Exceptionally Creative’. While star-values and big league technicians had the charm to pull in crowds to theatres, he has been a one man army getting them indulged in his engrossing entertainers. The versatile icon is back to enthrall us with his much trademarked style in “Oththa Seruppu Size 7”, which has already occupied the predetermined watch list of film buffs. More than all these factors, CBFC’s certification of ‘U’ has it much eligible for the universal audiences to watch the film.

Writer-director-actor Radhakrishnan Parthiban says, “When I usually write a script and develop it, I don’t keep the certification process in mind. I believe that by compromising, the script would lose its impact. Oththa Seruppu Size 7 was written in the same manner and I am happy that it has got ‘U’ from CBFC. According to me, a film has couple of certification processes, one from censor board and another is the general audiences. I am now curiously waiting like a student to present my project to them and we will be announcing the release date shortly.”

The film might be getting credited or noticed for its ‘Single character’ factor, but according to Parthiban, it has lots of characters. “Yes, every technician is a character here. Santhosh Narayanan’s music, Resul Pookkutty’s Sound, Amaran’s art work, and Sudharsan’s editing will be personified as characters themselves. As everyone knows, there have been few films on the International platform based on this concept and there have been many reasons for its successes, but if Oththa Seruppu Size 7 is getting recognized by all, it’s all due to a wonderful team of technicians. When I happened to see the final output, it was definitely a version that exceeded my expectations.”

Actor Kishore about House Owner Movie
There’s something really special about actor Kishore. Every time, he wears the greasepaint, he transforms magically into diversified roles winning our appreciations. Be it a positive one or the antagonistic shades, he never misses to be a showstopper and he’s already the cynosure of public glare with his new avatar in “House Owner”, which is scheduled for June 28 release.

It’s obvious that artistes always share a raving appreciation over working with their respective filmmakers in a project, but the citations from Kishore look more emotional. “Yes, the journey of House Owner happens to be an emotional experience to me. Although, my role in this film is short, I gained and learnt lots of values for it was more like an acting class,” says actor Kishore, who continues to add, “ Lakshmy Ramakrishnan is an extraordinary filmmaker and when I say this, it’s 100% true. Apparently, anyone who has worked with her would accept it. It wasn’t merely about her directorial proficiency, but the way she handled everything on the sets. An independent film like “House Owner” has very little manpower and she was involved in multi-tasking, which was unbelievably surprising. I must admit that today we come across lots of young filmmakers, who are technically brilliant, but lack life experience. Most of them feel more difficult to share their vision and at times, I would ask them perform so that I can follow the same. However, Lakshmy Ramakrishnan has imparted more life into each and every frame. It’s common that as an artiste, one would absolutely feel the emotions of the character they are performing, but I could feel and relate the pain, pathos and love that the character of wife Radha carries (played by Sriranjani) in the film. I am sure; audience will definitely go through the same experiences while watching the movie. Sriranjani has done a wonderful job and as I said, her role carries so much of emotions and she has exhibited it commendably. Both Kishore and Lovelyn are the souls of “House Owner” for they’ve escalated the vision of Lakshmy Ramakrishnan.”

Dr. Ramakrishnan is producing “House Owner” for Monkey Creative Labs and AGS Cinemas is releasing it on June 28 across Tamil Nadu. Scripted and helmed by Lakshmy Ramakrishnan, the film holds a strong technical team comprising of Krishnasekhar T.S. (Cinematography), C.S. Prem Kumar (Editing), Tapas Nayak (Audiography), Karky-Anuradha (Lyrics) and M.V. Ramesh (Production Executive).

When writing and developing the script, it was the antagonist’s role that actually impressed us all for the main core of film travels on him. Even after finalizing the other artistes and completing the first schedule, we couldn’t finalize the one for this role. Coincidentally, as a team, we all felt that Vivek Prasanna would be the appropriate choice for he owns the salient trait of exhibiting the villainous role with humorous shades. Moreover, we were spellbound over his performance in the film ‘Meyaadha Maan’ and felt that he would befittingly look perfect. He’s someone, who earnestly receives our input and delivers the best results exceeding our expectations. When we had the screen test of Vivek Prasanna with costumes and goggles, we were completely satisfied as the character we imagined had gained complete life. It has become a common verdict from people that Vivek Prasanna reminiscences of “Nooravadhu Naal” Sathyaraj.”

“Be it any place or time, he is ready to give his best improvising his performance. Even at the crowded junctures like railway station, he was so down to earth in such a way that even after the shot was perfect, he would voluntarily suggest for one more take to give betterment. Despite our team comprising of new artistes, who are mostly from YouTube, he never displayed any ego of his seniority. If not for his unconditional effort, this role would have not gained so much prominence. It’s so great to see that people are enjoying his performance, especially for the song ‘Kodiyille Malliga Poo”. He’s already a top-notch actor and I am sure that his stature as outstanding character artiste will escalate to a great character artiste.”

Actor Vetri about Jiivi Movie
The reality factor for an actor to become a winner is by delivering the appropriate graph that is actually essential for the role, which makes the drama look more impactful. Such was the awe-inspiring performance of Vetri, who was highly noticed for the highlighting trait of his natural acting in “8 Thottakkal”. Now the actor’s contrastive performance in “Jiivi’ has been perceived greatly with the film’s visual promos. Especially, the way he renders the dialogues in a unique style, his body language and almost every aspect of acting nuances has called up for everyone’s attraction. With the film creating a decent stature of expectations over its release scheduled on June 28, 2019, actor Vetri shares on what actually impressed and propelled him to take up this project.

“The first and foremost thing is the never-seen-or-never-heard-before concept that the script owned. As far as concerned with my perception, I would label “Jiivi” as ‘Fantasy-Thriller’, but the ones who saw the special screening weren’t able to judge it, but were really excited for the fresh and unique elements the film carries. Next thing that impressed me was my characterization, which is completely in contrast to “8 Thottakkal”. In fact, I had listened to various scripts, which sounded more stereotypical in accordance to the role played by me in debut film, but this one sounded different and surprising,” says actor Vetri.

Taking in reference of his debut film, which established MS Bhaskar in a surprising avatar, we are bounded by curiosities to ask if any such characters with substantial values can be found herein Jiivi. Vetri gives a perfect reply citing, “Actually, I am not able to bring up such comparisons out here. In fact, I was learning from each and everyone on the sets of Jiivi as someone senior like Rohini madam left me speechless with outstanding performances. There was a particular scene, where she shed down tears without using glycerin and such instances were like Goosebumps moment for me. When narrating the script, director VJ Gopinath openly admitted that as producers we can suggest artistes for any roles except for character ‘Mani’ as script writer Babu Tamizh had predetermined that only Karunakaran can do justice to this role. So, I believe that every character in the film will be seen in strong and substantive characters.”

Written by Babu Tamizh and directed by V.J. Gopinath, Jiivi is produced by M. Vellapandian, V. Sudalaikan Vellapandian and V. Subramanian Vellapandian for Vetrivel Saravana Cinemas. The fantasy-thriller features Vetri, Monica Chinnakotla, Ashwin Chandrashekar, Rohini, Karunakaran, Rama, Mime Gopi, Thangadurai and few others in the star-cast with ‘Airaa’ fame KS Sundaramurthy composing music, Praveen Kumar handling cinematography and Praveen KL on editing.

Writer Babu Tamizh about Jiivi Movie
Across the ages, ‘Content is King’ has been the hugely accepted theory and following them ardently have yielded finest results. With the season overwhelming with such unique tales that are interwoven with freshness, script writer Babu Tamizh has already become popular for the kind of stunning response that “Jiivi” has gained for him. While the film is scheduled for release on June 28, 2019, script writer Babu Tamizh shares some interesting elements about his writing process.

“Having tried my best to get into filmmaking, I had to go back to my native place due to some personal commitments. During that point of time, I firmly realized one thing that unique and different scripts alone will get welcomed and recognized. Eventually, I started ideating on same and that’s how the origin of “Jiivi” happened. The concept of ‘Human connectivity’ took me by huge interest, which I tried implementing it as the major premise in this film. Aftermath the narration, I approached my close friend-director VJ Gopinath, who was looking out for opportunity to make a film. I wanted to gain experience on the directorial grounds and hence thought of being associated with him. After meeting several actors for more than couple of years, we finally happened to meet Vetri. Although he was impressed with the script, it took some time for us to convince his father-producer Velappan sir, who finally gave a nod to the project,” says Babu Tamizh.

So how does he feel after watching the final output helmed by VJ Gopinath? “I am completely happy and satisfied to see my script find a perfect celluloid version. Most of the times, it happens that scripts undergo lots of changes from the respective directors, whereas Gopinath completely respected my work and has given the best in materializing it without making any changes. Yes, we did have a joint effort in simplifying the screenplay as we wanted the audience to understand the dramatic proceedings easily. Be it the protagonist’s role by Vetri or the character of Mani essayed by Karunakaran, everyone has impeccably done a fabulous job.”

A fantasy-thriller by genre, Jiivi is directed by VJ Gopinath and is produced by M.Vellapandian, V. Sudalaikan Vellapandian and V. Subramanian Vellapandian for Vetrivel Saravana Cinemas. Director VJ Gopinath on Jiivi Movie
It’s not a common scenario, where ‘script writers’ are given their due credits. Even if it happens, that would appear tagged along with the director’s name. However, the K-town is so much enthralled to see the genuineness of team ‘Jiivi’, especially filmmaker VJ Gopinath pass on all the credits that he has been gaining for the brilliant trailer towards script writer Babu Tamizh.

While giving an experience time-travel to the point of ‘Jiivi’ inception, director VJ Gopinath says, “It was in 2015, my close friend Babu Tamizh had approached me with the script, asking me to direct. It was such a wonderful film, where it sounded like a never-seen or never-heard before concept. In fact, I strongly believed that audiences will feel the same in theaters as well. Sooner, we started approaching many actors and producers. Despite the delay, we were confident that the film will definitely get a good reception even if made after 3-4 years for it had a unique content. After meeting several actors, we finally met and narrated the script to Vetri. On his part, he was going through a challenging phase of selecting unique scripts and to our fortune, he found ours to be a worthy one.”

While few who have already watched “Jiivi” have been extolling it as ‘Out of box thinking’, it’s already been declared the same with the ones who have made similar predictions watching the trailer. So how does director VJ Gopinath see such acclamation’s? “Definitely, all credit goes to my friend Babu Tamizh and it’s his unparalleled thinking that has yielded positive results now.”

Having credited his heartiest thanks to Babu Tamizh, the director shares the challenges that were involved in materializing the script. “Yes, the script had a unique concept of ‘Human Connectivity’ and as Babu narrated the story for first time, I could feel that there are going to be heavy challenges while shooting. Apparently, I took sumptuous time of 2-3 months preparing with shot divisions and other essential aspects, which made the process easy.”

A film’s title happens to be the curtain raiser when it comes to attracting crowds. In this aspect, ‘Jiivi’ has nurtured itself with best reach. Filmmaker VJ Gopinath reveals an interesting fact that it was actor Sibiraj who suggested the title. “Actually, we were having lots of discussions to finalize the title, which we wanted to be inherent to the protagonist’s nature of being brilliant. When we narrated the script to Sibi sir, he suggested us this title, which was so much apt. However, he couldn’t take up this project due to his prior commitments during that point of time.”

Bankrolled by M. Vellapandian, V. Sudalaikan Vellapandian and V. Subramanian Vellapandian for Vetrivel Saravana Cinemas, Vetri of “8 Thottakkal” fame plays the lead, which features Monica Chinnakotla, Ashwin Chandrashekar, Rohini, Karunakaran, Rama, Mime Gopi and Thangadurai in pivotal roles. Pasanga movie fame Kishore DS about House Owner Movie
He became an overnight member of every family with his cute innocuous natured role in ‘Pasanga’ that was followed by his ambitious teen avatar in ‘Goli Soda’. With decorous fame that Kishore has garnered, the actor steps into a much matured role with his upcoming film “House Owner” directed by Lakshmy Ramakrishnan that is slated for this Friday (June 28) release.

Being an actor, who has never been on a hurry to choose random projects, Kishore speaks about how special is this film to him. “Having gained some recognition through movies like Pasanga, Goli Soda and Sagaa, I was little choosy about my projects. This might seemingly look like an overinflated statement, but I believed that only different and unique scripts are going to push me furthermore in this journey as an actor. At this point of time, “House Owner” came as a blessing upon me and I am unconditionally thankful to Lakshmy Ramakrishnan madam for choosing me. What I really admired in her is her vision. Even before starting the shoot, she was completely sure about how the output of each character should be. Such a strong determination made us perform exerting our best. There were some sequences that were tougher to perform, but Lakshmy madam would enact and show us even the minutest expressions that made our job easier. I really learnt a lot working in “House Owner” and I desire to keep working with her in the near future so that I can inherit more acting skills from her,” says Kishore.

Getting on to share about his co-star Lovelyn Chandrashekar, he says, “She is undoubtedly going to be the charming attraction of tinsel town. The way she got into the skin of character was incredible…”

Lakshmy Ramakrishnan has penned the script and directed “House Owner”, which is based on some real life incidents set against the backdrops of Chennai’s disastrous floods. Actor Karunakaran about Jiivi Movie
The singularity of being able to swap between hilarious and character roles has distinguished Karunakaran as a prominent actor in K-Town. With scrutinizing efforts over choosing the best and different scripts-roles, Karunakaran has now become the favourite of masses not alone for his humorous appeal, but as a character artiste as well. Having played an important role in “Jiivi” scheduled for June 28 release, the actor has something interesting to share about the film.

“I happened to come across “Jiivi’ when Big Print Karthikeyan suggested me to hear the script while shooting for Kalavu. On the hearing the narration, I was very much spellbound as I came across lots of fresh elements. It would be a stereotypical statement if I say it’s a different and unique film. Precisely, the film has a genuine story, which occurred to me like first-of-its-kind. What’s more appreciable is that despite the film having a complex premise, it has been neatly presented with simplified narration making sure that it engrosses the universal audiences. When the story was narrated to me, the concept of ‘Human Connectivity’, which happens to be the major backdrop excited me a lot and I thoroughly enjoyed the process, where the script was being materialized into visual medium.I am glad I had an opportunity to work with this team and very happy to work with Rohini Mam once again thank audiences for their support to new concepts”

Evidently, actor Karunakaran has now become a great asset in many movies for his hilarious roles. While the trailer of “Jiivi” looks more like a complicated and serious drama, how well can we expect his humour in this film? He reverts with clarity saying, “Jiivi is a thriller film laced with some surprise elements. It does have some humour in accordance to the situational context, but with limitations. Naturally, these days, audiences have started looking up for unique contents and we are urged by their interests to deliver something different from one film to the other.”

While Babu Tamizh has written the script, VJ Gopinath has wielded the megaphone for “Jiivi”, which is produced by M. Vellapandian, V. Sudalaikan Vellapandian and V. Subramaniam Vellapandian for Vetrivel Saravana Cinemas. Vetri, Monica Chinnakotla, Ashwin Chandrashekar, Rohini, Karunakaran, Rama, Mime Gopi, Thangadurai and few others will be seen prominent characters. The technical crew comprises of KS Sundaramurthy (Music), Praveen Kumar (Cinematography) and Praveen KL (Editing).

Inheriting the ‘Expressive Eyes’ from her mother Viji Chandrashekar, Lovelyn Chandrashekar has now exquisitely carved a niche of excellence with her nuance performance in “House Owner”. While the film’s release is all set to happen tomorrow (June 28), the dusky beauty is being flooded with relentless praises from the special screenings.

“I am in a state of mind wedged between dream and reality. Truly, I am going through an unexplainable joy and excitement now. Especially, the eminent and senior personalities from film industry praising our film land me on seventh heaven. Yes, I could predict few things during the shoot itself that it will get its due credits for the hard work of entire team, but to see such heart-warming response from celebrities and media is something beyond my perceptions. I never imagined that I would be noticed even for minute things like speaking Tamil in Palakkad slang. I owe a lot to Lakshmy mam for being so much supportive as a mentor and bringing the best out of me,” says Lovelyn Chandrashekar.

Furthermore, she adds saying, “If not for the strong characters and gripping narration from Lakshmy mam, such a reception would have not been possible. Kishore sir, Sriranjani and Kishore have been the main pillars for their performances in one or the other way enhanced my characterization. ‘Content is King’ is the often celebrated theory of film industry and it’s yet again proved through the groovy success of ‘Jiivi’. The film featuring Vetri and Ashwini Chandrashekar in lead roles were released on June 28 and becoming the favourite of press-media and audiences. Scripted by Babu Tamizh, the film is directed by VJ Gopinath with Vellapandian producing the film for Vetrivel Saravana Cinemas.

The entire team was present in the city to express their thanks for making this film a success. Here are some of the highlighting speeches of this occasion.

Actress Ashwini Chandrashekar said, “So far, I have been a part of Kannada and Telugu movies, but this is my debut one in Tamil. Kollywood has always been special when it comes to experimenting with newfangled ideas and proving success. Although, I had minimal dialogues, I had lots of scope for performance and when I come across the reviewers and critics appreciating my work, I feel more elated.”

Script writer Babu Tamizh said, “I am so much happy to see the critics from press and media sending out positive reviews that has drawn more crowd into theatres. Jiivi was rejected by many actors even without them listening to the story. Patience and persistent persuasion alone will give success and this has proved of it now.”
Muthu said, “The producer was taking scrutinizing efforts in choosing a perfect script and had listened more than 50 scripts. His firm decision to produce only unique content happens to be the only reason behind ‘Jiivi’ getting materialized and scoring brownie points out here commercially. There were some hearsays that Vetri is no different from routine illustrations, where the producers’ sons vanish into thin air, but he disapproved their perceptions and has emerged as clear winner. He has proved the fact that being dedicated and honest to one’s work, success will come accordingly.”

Sakthivelan of Sakthi Film Factory said, “I am extending an unconditional thanks to press and media for spreading positive message about the film. I happen to attend around 6-7 preview shows over a month. After watching every movie, I would have lots of assumptions, predictions and questions raising in my mind whether the particular film will have a reach across the audiences. Sometimes, it becomes successful with audiences and media. 8 Thottakkal is a wonderful film, but I had a disappointed feel that I couldn’t make it a commercial success. However, I am happy ‘Jiivi’ has taken a far-flung reach across all the centres and this has encouraged me to proceed taking up valuable content based films. I was happy to hear from producer on Day 2 that all theatre owners have mentioned that Tamil Nadu people have accepted the film. I was so much enthralled to hear one among the journalists say that if Vetri continues to strive with same hard work and dedication, he can definitely can deliver a power-packed magnum opus like Paruthiveeran. I am so confident that it will happen anytime sooner.”

Actress Rohini said, “As soon as I heard the script, I could predict that the film has all elements to steal the show commercially. Babu Tamizh and director VJ Gopinath are like twins and they would be involved in the discussions throughout the shooting. Their craftsmanship skills in writing and executing the script were extraordinary. Personally, this happens to be the first ever production house that didn’t come up bargaining anything on my remuneration. During my early days as dubbing artist, I got an opportunity to dub for a movie that was directed by a newcomer. I had some doubts and strictly told the makers that would take up dubbing only after watching the film. It was none other than Ram Gopal Varma’s Shiva, which was Udhaya in Tamil. From that point of time, I started to have a great respect and reverence for all directors, especially newcomers for their contents. It is now proved greatly with Jiivi, where VJ Gopinath has excelled tremendously with his directorial skills.

Director VJ Gopinath, “There are few films that gets contributed by actors and music, but very rarely we come across the ones that are successful due to story and dialogues. Babu Tamizh deserves all praises for such a wonderful movie. I am grateful to my family for being so much supportive irrespective of going through a delayed process. My wife has been so much helpful and supportive in letting me acquire my passion. More than the commercial success of this film, I am so happy to hear many colleges and film based institutions showing interest to take up this film as case study.”

Actor Vetri said, “In spite of incurring heavy loss through 8 Thottakkal, my father encouraged me and came up producing this film. I owe a lot to him and can’t thank him enough for this. The entire script travels on the shoulders of hero character and VJ Gopinath has trusted me so much. I thank him for such a gesture and Babu Tamizh also deserves special mention. It is really astonishing to see that even the audiences across rural areas who prefer only big hero movies have watched Jiivi and appreciated it.”

Producer Vellapandian found on high spirits thanks each and everyone from the team, distributors and theatre owners along with press-media for making ‘Jiivi’ a good success.

Stunt choreographer Sudesh, actor Thanga Durai, Big Print Pictures Karthikeyan and Subramaniam Vellapandian were present for the occasion of thanksgiving-success meet.

Music director KP said, “I have had a great passion for films right from the time of school days. Both myself and Dheeraj have been close friends from that point. Pradhayini is a super model and has done a fabulous job with this film. I could easily predict that BGM process is definitely going to be definitely an exciting one and as expected, it had such scope for me to work the best. Cinematographer Balasubramaniem said, “Dheeraj was introduced to me through Udhayanidhi sir. Both of them have done an unforgettable help for me. When my wife had a critical health issue, it was both of them, who stood by me. Udhayanidhi sir stayed by me for the whole night when the surgery was performed by Dheeraj and they saved my wife and I worked in this film as a token of showing my gratitude… The film has come out really well.”

Model-actress Pradhayini said, “I never had interest in films and didn’t go for the option of hearing scripts. When director Chandru approached me, I wanted to give a try and gave a nod. I took some training from Mime Gopi sir. It was a new experience to face the camera here. Bodhai Yeri Buddhi Maari is a film that will keep everyone guessing what’s next and am sure just like me, it will be surely liked by all.”

Director KR Chandru said, “I got a fascination for filmmaking and was involved in short films. That’s when I got an idea to direct a film and expressed the desire to Dheeraj. While narrating the film to Balasubramaniem sir, I was literally nervous and yet he propelled his encouraging words upon me. The story is set against the backdrops of a single house and all the artistes have given an impeccable show. Telugu actor Ajay is playing an important role in this film. Sound Mixing happens to be one of the major aspects of this film and the entire technical team has been more supportive in enhancing the film’s impact. The film will be significantly cohesive to the title.”

Actor Dheeraj said, “I had a great passion for acting right from my childhood and was waiting for the right opportunity. At the same time, I didn’t want to give up on the profession of doctor that I pursued. Everyone here are citing that we as school students have made a film. If so, our headmaster is none other than Balasubramaniem sir. If not for his support, this film would have not been possible. We are releasing the film on July 12, 2019.”
